Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Alumni Association is proud to announce the launch of new apparel and merchandise designed and produced by a talented pool of RHS graduates and Ridgewood owned businesses now available for purchase online. The collaboration brings unique RHS Alumni gear and apparel to market as part of a campaign to bolster donations, encourage participation in alumni relations programs, and strengthen communication and connections between alumni and the Ridgewood High School community.
Items include Canvas Cooler Bags by Hudson Sutler a company owned by 1999 RHS
grad Michael Chepucavage and the Backpacker by Birdling Bags a company owned by
RHS grads and best friends Meagan Coomber and Courtney Reenstra. “It has been
exciting to team up with former RHS graduates to showcase their talent and collaborate
with them on how we can use their designs for an exclusive campaign to promote the
RHS Alumni” commented Justine Kaufman who heads up the Apparel Committee for
the Alumni Association.
The updated assorted product line adds a mix of stylish and affordable items with a focus on purpose. All items are perfect for gift giving. Varsity Hues, owned by Ridgewood resident Kristy McLellan, produced a new warm and comfortable RHS Pom-Pom hat and an RHS logo Facemask. Local Ridgewood business RKL Custom Design designed a School Spirit Mask Bag, a useful item for all these days. “Our goal is to continue to feature RHS Alumni designers and Ridgewood businesses in order to build awareness of the Alumni Association and support our local residential talent” said Kaufman.
