Newark NJ, when Ricardo the bull barreled through Newark Penn Station , his rescue drew nationwide attention. Ricardo secured shelter at the Skylands Animal Sanctuary.
Helping to support Ricardo’s new journey, NJ TRANSIT sold a stuffed animal bull plushie. A portion of the proceeds were destined to support the real-life Ricardo at the animal sanctuary. On Friday, February 23rd, NJ TRANSIT CEO Kevin Corbett joined Mike from Skylands Animal Sanctuary. Mike was presented with a gift from the sale of the Ricardo plushie.
New Jersey Transit Police Sergeant Segro and Officer Jackman assisted in Ricardo’s rescue and attended the heartwarming event. Along with NJ TRANSIT, we wish Ricardo a lifetime of happiness and hay!
