Cape May NJ, bank robberies in the age of COVID , the New Jersey State Police is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying a man who allegedly committed two bank robberies in Cape May County.
On Wednesday, December 30, at approximately 3:10 p.m., the suspect entered Sturdy Savings Bank in Dennisville, N.J., and handed the teller a note requesting that money be placed on the counter. The suspect then departed the bank in an unknown direction with cash provided by the teller.
On Thursday, January 7, at approximately 3:20 p.m., the suspect entered TD Bank in Marmora, N.J., and handed the teller a note requesting that money be placed on the counter. The suspect then departed the bank in an unknown direction with cash provided by the teller.
The suspect is described as a white male approximately 40 to 60 years old, 6’ 0”, medium build, with gray hair. The suspect in both robberies was wearing a black knit cap, a black gaiter style face covering, blue jeans, a black coat, and black gloves.

It’s amazing years ago if you walked into a bank or store with your face covered like that, they were calling the cops they were hitting a buzzer. Now that you walk into a store without a covering they will hit the buzzer call the cops. Wow how the world changed. You don’t know who’s walking into your store and can say stick them up at any time like back in the westerns. Holy moly
