Allendale NJ, a 63-year-old woman in Allendale suffered moderate injuries after she was struck by a truck Friday evening. According to Police the woman was walking across West Orchard Street around 6:40 p.m. when she was hit by a Dodge pickup truck while she was walking in the crosswalk.
The driver, a 23-year-old Allendale resident who was not named, was making a left turn from Franklin Turnpike onto West Orchard Street. The woman was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center.
6:40 PM….was she wearing light or bright clothing ?
23 year old driver…was he distracted (texting) while making the turn…??
