NJ TRANSIT to Initiate Rescue Bus Service Plan for Coach USA – Effective Saturday, August 17, 2024

Ridgewood NJ, beginning Saturday, August 17, 2024, NJ TRANSIT and Academy Bus will replace service in Bergen, Hudson and Passaic counties originally served by Coach USA. During this transition, customers should not expect any interruption in bus service.

Academy Bus will assume affected routes in Bergen and Passaic Counties, with NJ TRANSIT assuming affected routes in Hudson County.
The affected routes will be as follows:
Bergen County: 751, 752*, 753, 755, 756, 762, 772, 780
Passaic County: 702, 705, 707, 709, 722, 744, 746, 748, 758
Hudson County: 2, 84, 88
*752 route between Oakland, Ridgewood, and Hackensack 
NOTE: The current timetable is linked to each bus route listed above. The new timetables will be published shortly.
It is important to note that customers on all of these routes in Bergen, Passaic, and Hudson counties will not see a difference in the schedules, fares, routes, bus stops, or the appearance of the buses, and customers should continue to purchase tickets in the same manner as they previously did.
