In Their Own Words: Why Bill’s ‘Bimbos’ Fear a Hillary Presidency

bill clinton and monica

by AARON KLEIN28 Dec 20152,099

As women’s issues become part of the 2016 presidential race, it may be instructive to review recent statements made by some of Bill Clinton’s alleged female victims regarding the ambitions of Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton.

Last week, Hillary accused Republican canddiate Donald Trump of having a “penchant for sexism” in an interview with the Des Moines Register in Iowa.  The billionaire fired backon Twitter: “Be careful Hillary as you play the war on women or women being degraded card.”

Trump followed up with a second tweet, saying, “Hillary, when you complain about ‘a penchant for sexism,’ who are you referring to? I have great respect for women. BE CAREFUL!”

Clinton has sought to portray her campaign as one that is fighting for women’s rights.  On several occasions, she has tweeted about sex assault survivors’ right to be believed, and awkwardly starred in a campaign ad in which she insisted that one must always side with women who accuse men of sexual assault – a strange position given that her husband was repeatedly accused of precisely that crime.

“You have the right to be heard. You have the right to be believed. We’re with you,” Clinton said in the video, which she addressed to “every survivor of sexual assault.”

The Year of the “TRUMP”

The Celebrity Apprentice

It’s a very Trump Christmas
By Lisa Hagen – 12/24/15 06:00 AM EST

Donald Trump may be getting the best gift of all this holiday season, as he enters 2016 firmly on top in the Republican race for the White House.

The GOP presidential hopeful has proved the doubters wrong, solidifying a double-digit lead in national polls while running one of the most unorthodox campaigns in history.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) — who has seen his support plunge amid Trump’s rise — predicted at a private Dallas fundraiser in mid-November that Trump would falter by the next GOP debate.

“Come December 15, Trump will be in decline,” Bush reportedly said.

But on the eve of Christmas, Trump still tops the Republican field by 17 points, even as Bush lags behind in the single digits.

“He’s obviously been able to defy political gravity for much of this campaign,” GOP strategist Matt Mackowiak said, noting Trump’s advantages of being a celebrity and attracting heavy media coverage.

PHYLLIS SCHLAFLY: TRUMP IS ‘LAST HOPE FOR AMERICA’

Trump_hat_boarder-theridgewoodblog

I don’t see anyone else who’s eager to fight’

Phyllis Schlafly, an icon of the conservative movement who has been active for half a century, is warning the nation: Donald Trump is the last hope for America.

Schlafly unloaded on Republicans in Congress for passing the $1.1 trillion omnibus bill last week, a move she called a “betrayal.”

“This is a betrayal of the grassroots and of the Republican Party,” Schlafly said in an exclusive interview with WND. “We thought we were electing a different crowd to stand up for America, and they didn’t. We’re extremely outraged by what Congress has done. Nancy Pelosi couldn’t have engineered it any better. I think the people are going to react by electing Donald Trump.”

Trump put out a statement Friday to ABC News saying, “If anyone needs more evidence of why the American people are suffering at the hands of their own government, look no further than the budget deal announced by Speaker Ryan. In order to avoid a government shutdown, a cowardly threat from an incompetent president, the elected Republicans in Congress threw in the towel and showed absolutely no budget discipline.”

Polls may actually underestimate Trump’s support, study finds

trump

David LauterContact Reporter

Donald Trump leads the GOP presidential field in polls of Republican voters nationally and in most early-voting states, but some surveys may actually be understating his support, a new study suggests.

The analysis, by Morning Consult, a polling and market research company, looked at an odd occurrence that has cropped up repeatedly this year: Trump generally has done better in online polls than in surveys done by phone.

The firm conducted an experiment aimed at understanding why that happens and which polls are more accurate — online surveys that have tended to show Trump with support of nearly four-in-10 GOP voters or the telephone surveys that have typically shown him with the backing of one-third or fewer.

Their results suggest that the higher figure probably provides the more accurate measure. Some significant number of Trump supporters, especially those with college educations, are “less likely to say that they support him when they’re talking to a live human” than when they are in the “anonymous environment” of an online survey, said the firm’s polling director, Kyle Dropp.

With Trump dominating political debates in both parties, gauging his level of support has become a crucial puzzle. The Morning Consult study provides one piece of the solution, although many other uncertainties remain.

Ridgewood NJ ,CBS 2016 Battleground Tracker came out with some interesting results  , first 70% of respondents felt America had become “More dangerous and insecure”  and that the 69% of the respondents felt the American economy is moving more toward a system that makes things harder for them. No surprise , given the weak job growth and high regulatory costs and anti business mentality of the Obama Administration , but in what I think is the big surprise is that a resounding 56% of Democrats favored Bernie Sanders .

Sanders’ campaign threatens to sue DNC

Bernie Sanders

‘They are not going to sabotage our campaign,’ Sanders’ top aide Jeff Weaver said.

By GABRIEL DEBENEDETTI

12/18/15 01:23 PM EST

Bernie Sanders’ campaign on Friday threatened to sue the Democratic Party for suspending its access to the national voter database, saying the move threatens to undermine the Vermont senator’s presidential run.

Jeff Weaver, Sanders’ campaign manager, held a press conference on Friday in which he described how the Democratic National Committee was unfairly choking off the “lifeblood” of the campaign.

The DNC suspended Sanders’ access following the revelation that Sanders staffers improperly reviewed Hillary Clinton campaign data made available as a result of a software error this week by political data technology company NGP VAN.

“Individual leaders of the DNC can support Hillary Clinton in any way they want, but they are not going to sabotage our campaign, one of the strongest grassroots campaigns in modern history,” Weaver said.

“By their action, the leadership of the Democratic National Committee is now actively attempting to undermine our campaign,” he said, calling on the DNC to release its freeze on the campaign’s data, a move that has effectively crippled Sanders’ field operation. “This is taking our campaign hostage.”

Weaver described campaign’s data as “stolen by the DNC” and said he saw a “pattern” of actions suggesting the committee has been helping Clinton. He said he planned to bring the issue to federal court this afternoon if the DNC continues to “hold our data hostage.”

GOP debate

There is something going on between Trump and Cruz right now. They refused to go after eachother, they assimilated and seemed aligned in their views. At the beginning, when Cruz walked onto the stage, they shook hands like they had been campaigning together. These two are securing the GOP nomination one way or another.

Trump and Cruz backtrack on attacks

By Jonathan Easley

Donald Trump and Ted Cruz declined to attack one another on the debate stage in Las Vegas on Tuesday night and backed away from previous critiques of one another.

Trump, who has described Cruz as a “maniac” in the Senate, said he’s not concerned about his fellow GOP presidential candidate’s temperament.

“Let’ me tell you something, I’ve gotten to know him over the last three or four days, and he has a wonderful temperament,” Trump said, patting a smiling Cruz on the back. “He’s just fine. Don’t worry about it.”

Trump’s Primary Lead Is Bigger Than Hillary’s

-donald-trump-candidacy-speech-thridgewoodblog

And larger than Reagan’s in 1980, and Bush’s in 1988.

1:53 PM, Dec 15, 2015 | By ETHAN EPSTEIN

So dominant is Hillary Clinton’s polling in the presidential primaries, notes the press critic Howard Kurtz, that the media have essentially stopped paying attention to the Democratic race at all. The logic, for a media organization, is simple: Why lavish limited resources on a fait accompli? The Democrats, after all, have spoken. They are fully ready for (or perhaps fully resigned to) Hillary.

That’s certainly not the case on the Republican side, where, we are told (ad nauseam), that the race is still “wide open.” With “no clear frontrunner” on the GOP side, the contrast between the Republican and Democratic contests could not be clearer. It will be Hillary representing the Dems, and it could be just about anybody (well, maybe not anybody) who ends up leading the ticket for the GOP.

Yet are the races really all that different?

According to the two latest national polls, conducted as the furor over Trump’s call for a temporary moratorium on Muslim migration reached a fever pitch, the real estate magnate leads the Republican field by either 23 or 27 points. Tuesday’s Washington Post/ABC News poll has Trump with more than double the support of the second place finisher, Ted Cruz. Indeed, Trump’s lead over his primary opponents is larger than both Ronald Reagan’s was in the 1980 race, and George H. W Bush’s was in the 1988 contest.

NBC/WSJ Poll: Terror Fears Reshape 2016 Landscape

islamic_state_of_iraq

by MARK MURRAY

The recent terrorist attacks in Paris and San Bernardino, Calif., have vaulted terrorism and national security to become the American public’s top concern, and they’ve helped drive President Barack Obama’s job rating to 43 percent — its lowest level in more than a year, according to a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll.

What’s more, seven-in-10 Americans believe the country is headed in the wrong direction — the highest percentage here since Aug. 2014.

And 71 percent say the shootings and random acts of violence that have taken place this year — from Charleston, S.C., Oregon and Colorado, to the terrorist shootings in San Bernardino, Calif. — are now are now a permanent part of American life.

“For most of 2015, the country’s mood, and thus the presidential election, was defined by anger and the unevenness of the economic recovery,” says Democratic pollster Fred Yang of Hart Research Associates, which conducted this survey with Republican pollster Bill McInturff of Public Opinion Strategies. “Now that has abruptly changed to fear.”

That kind focus on security and terrorism “is a very different campaign than the one we thought we’d be running,” McInturff adds, referring to the 2016 presidential race.

Trump hits a new high in national poll rocketing to 41%

The billionaire businessman surges to 41 percent after releasing proposal to ban all Muslims from entering the U.S.

By NICK GASS

12/14/15 12:00 PM EST
Updated 12/14/15 12:48 PM EST

Donald Trump just got a little more vault in his ceiling. Nationwide, the polling-obsessed Manhattan multi-billionaire and leading Republican presidential candidate broke into the 40s on Monday.

According to the results of the latest Monmouth University poll surveying voters identifying as Republican or independents leaning toward the GOP, Trump earned 41 percent, nearly tripling the support of his closest rival, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, who took 14 percent.

The poll underscores Trump’s success at keeping voters fixated on his unprecedented presidential campaign. The latest national survey was taken after Trump landed another whopper, proposing in an emailed statement last Monday to temporarily ban all Muslims from entering the U.S. The statement gave Trump another boost of media attention, and some speculated it was designed to shift the conversation away from a Monmouth poll from Iowa released earlier that day that showed Cruz with a 5-point edge in the state.

Trump was still smarting from that poll last Friday, trashing it during a campaign rally in Des Moines, Iowa, though he may change his tune after this latest result.

Hillary Clinton Is Whitewashing the Financial Catastrophe

hillary-clinton-what-difference-does-it-make

She has a plan that she claims will reform Wall Street—but she’s deflecting responsibility from old friends and donors in the industry.

By

William Greider

DECEMBER 11, 2015

Hillary Clinton’s recent op-ed in The New York Times, “How I’d Rein In Wall Street,” was intended to reassure nervous Democrats who fear she is still in thrall to those mega-bankers of New York who crashed the American economy. Clinton’s brisk recital of plausible reform ideas might convince wishful thinkers who are not familiar with the complexities of banking. But informed skeptics, myself included, see a disturbing message in her argument that ought to alarm innocent supporters.

Candidate Clinton is essentially whitewashing the financial catastrophe. She has produced a clumsy rewrite of what caused the 2008 collapse, one that conveniently leaves her husband out of the story. He was the president who legislated the predicate for Wall Street’s meltdown. Hillary Clinton’s redefinition of the reform problem deflects the blame from Wall Street’s most powerful institutions, like JPMorgan Chase and Goldman Sachs, and instead fingers less celebrated players that failed. In roundabout fashion, Hillary Clinton sounds like she is assuring old friends and donors in the financial sector that, if she becomes president, she will not come after them.

The seminal event that sowed financial disaster was the repeal of the New Deal’s Glass-Steagall Act of 1933, which had separated banking into different realms: investment banks, which organize capital investors for risk-taking ventures; and deposit-holding banks, which serve people as borrowers and lenders. That law’s repeal, a great victory for Wall Street, was delivered by Bill Clinton in 1999, assisted by the Federal Reserve and the financial sector’s armies of lobbyists. The “universal banking model” was saluted as a modernizing reform that liberated traditional banks to participate directly and indirectly in long-prohibited and vastly more profitable risk-taking.

Exotic financial instruments like derivatives and credit-default swaps flourished, enabling old-line bankers to share in the fun and profit on an awesome scale. The banks invented “guarantees” against loss and sold them to both companies and market players. The fast-expanding financial sector claimed a larger and larger share of the economy (and still does) at the expense of the real economy of producers and consumers. The interconnectedness across market sectors created the illusion of safety. When illusions failed, these connected guarantees became the dragnet that drove panic in every direction. Ultimately, the federal government had to rescue everyone, foreign and domestic, to stop the bleeding.

Military Support Offered In Benghazi — Why Would White House Say No?

hillary-clinton-what-difference-does-it-make

12/10/2015 05:14 PM ET

Scandal: The administration says there just wasn’t enough time to send military help for the four Americans murdered by terrorists in the Benghazi attacks. Newly released emails show that’s another lie.

Former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta swore during congressional testimony in 2013 that “without an adequate warning, there was not enough time given the speed of the attack for armed military assets to respond” to Benghazi.

Killed by terrorists in the Sept. 11, 2012, attacks were U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens, U.S. Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith, and CIA contractors Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty.

In a televised interview, also in 2013, Panetta, who served as the Obama defense secretary for nearly two years, said “you cannot just simply call and expect within two minutes to have a team in place. It takes time.”

So the administration’s official line has been that no help was sent because events happened too quickly.

But the facts are catching up with the story. Emails released this week by Judicial Watch show that a Defense official offered armed intervention that could in the official’s opinion have provided help. “We have identified the forces that could move to Benghazi,” chief of staff Jeremy Bash said in an email sent to State Department leadership. “They are spinning up as we speak.”

DONALD J. TRUMP STATEMENT ON PREVENTING MUSLIM IMMIGRATION : US Code 1182, inadmissible aliens

-donald-trump-candidacy-speech-thridgewoodblog

Here is number eight US Code 1182, inadmissible aliens.  This law was written in 1952.  It was passed by a Democrat-controlled Congress, House and Senate, and signed by a Democrat president.

“Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by president.  Whenever the president finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, the president may, by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”

This is what Trump said:

DONALD J. TRUMP STATEMENT ON PREVENTING MUSLIM IMMIGRATION

(New York, NY) December 7th, 2015, — Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on. According to Pew Research, among others, there is great hatred towards Americans by large segments of the Muslim population. Most recently, a poll from the Center for Security Policy released data showing “25% of those polled agreed that violence against Americans here in the United States is justified as a part of the global jihad” and 51% of those polled, “agreed that Muslims in America should have the choice of being governed according to Shariah.” Shariah authorizes such atrocities as murder against non-believers who won’t convert, beheadings and more unthinkable acts that pose great harm to Americans, especially women.

Mr. Trump stated, “Without looking at the various polling data, it is obvious to anybody the hatred is beyond comprehension. Where this hatred comes from and why we will have to determine. Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in Jihad, and have no sense of reason or respect for human life. If I win the election for President, we are going to Make America Great Again.” – Donald J. Trump

Governor Christie goes on war path in vintage Christie rant

Day of verbal assaults in N.J. was vintage Christie

STATE HOUSE BUREAU |
THE RECORD

In a rare public event in New Jersey this week, Governor Christie ripped into the state’s largest business community for nearly 40 minutes, stealing headlines by telling leaders to “get a spine” and quit playing “kissy-face” with “crazy and liberal” Democrats he said were bought and paid for by union “pigs.”

But he was far from done.

Over the course of that speech to the New Jersey Business and Industry Association, and later during his monthly radio call-in show, Christie attacked or insulted at least a half-dozen other targets, some familiar, some not.

Tuesday’s string of attacks was a vintage version of the Christie who rose to national fame hurling invective at his adversaries and dressing down supporters if they strayed from the path.

Christie spared few from his withering critiques, from former governors to “liberal lunatics” in the Legislature to the “brutally liberal, ridiculous” media to a Senate aide. He even took a jab — jokingly — at the hapless Philadelphia 76ers, who plan to move their practice facility to Camden next year.

His speech to business leaders and the radio show were the only public events on his schedule Tuesday. On Wednesday, Christie did not attend a groundbreaking ceremony for Subaru’s new headquarters in Camden, one of the many achievements — along with luring the 76ers to New Jersey — he’s touted as part of his tax-incentive program.

Trump Continues to Move Higher!

07trump-master675 (1)

Poll: Donald Trump back on top, with Ted Cruz climbing into second

By Anthony Salvanto, Jennifer De Pinto, Sarah Dutton and Fred Backus

The Republican Race

Thirty-five percent of Republican primary voters support Trump, up 13 points since October, and his highest level of support in CBS News polling. Ted Cruz (16 percent) has moved into second place, while Ben Carson, who led the October poll, has dropped to third.

Republicans react to Donald Trump’s proposed ban on Muslims

Marco Rubio is in fourth place with 9 percent. Jeb Bush is getting the backing of just 3 percent of Republican primary voters nationwide, his lowest percentage to date in CBS News polling. Carly Fiorina’s support has also dropped; she is at just 1 percent now.

Donald Trump heads to Israel in December

Most of the interviews for this poll were conducted before Trump made statements concerning a ban on Muslims entering the United States.

Trump voters continue to be more firm in their support. Fifty-one percent of his backers say their minds are made up about him, compared to just a quarter of voters who support a candidate other than Trump.

Trump leads among both men and women. He has more than a 20-point lead among non-college graduates (and a smaller lead among those with a college degree).

But Cruz has made inroads with evangelicals. Carson led with this group in October, but now Cruz and Trump are running neck and neck among them; the two candidates are also close among very conservative Republicans.
