Alpine NJ, year after year, numerous studies reveal the best places to live in America, and destinations like Naples, Aspen, and Austin are often cited – however, living in these desirable locations comes at a significant price. Except for those affluent souls, where money is no object, most people end up choosing more affordable alternatives. However, for those who decide to make it their home, the high cost is clearly a tradeoff they’re willing to make, valuing the unique lifestyle these cities offer above all else.

The Ridgewood Blog Endorse Frank Pallotta for Congress in New Jersey’s 5th Congressional District

Mahwah NJ, Mahwah Resident Frank Pallotta Certified as Congressional District 5 Winner in GOP Primary . Bergen County has finally certified the county votes from the Primary Election held on July 7th. Combining Bergen with Sussex and Warren counties Frank Pallotta beat out 3 other candidates in his first run for public office.
The Ridgewood blog would like to congratulate Frank Pallotta, a 31 year Mahwah resident, on his victory in the Primary election to represent Congressional District 5 which includes Ridgewood and we  take the  moment of his victory  to endorse Frank Pallotta for Congress in New Jersey’s CD5.

BERGEN COUNTY MOBILE COVID19 PROGRAM, OVER 11,000 RESIDENTS TESTED AND COUNTING

Hackensack NJ,  Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco announces that 11,336 tests have been administered in the first five weeks of community mobile testing across Bergen County. According to results processed by Bergen New Bridge Medical Center, of the 8,147 COVID-19 saliva diagnostic tests and 3,189 COVID-19 antibody tests taken at mobile testing locations, only 2% of the saliva tests and 18% of antibody tests yielded positive results.

Next week, the community mobile testing program, which is available to all county residents thanks to a partnership between the County of Bergen and Bergen New Bridge Medical Center, will deploy to Alpine, Cresskill, Hasbrouck Heights, Mahwah, Palisades Park, Ridgefield, Tenafly, & Wood-Ridge.
