NJ Assemblyman Denounces Disruptive Anti-Semitic Campus Demonstrations

New Brunswick NJ, Assemblyman John Azzariti issued the following statement denouncing the recent surge of disruptive campus demonstrations and warned of the perilous consequences:
“I strongly denounce the behaviors that have instilled an unacceptable climate of intimidation within our academic sanctuaries. The very essence of our educational spaces is under siege, compromised not by external forces, but by individuals who, cloaked in the pretense of peaceful protest, have engaged in actions that disrupt and endanger.

Vigilance on 2nd Anniversary of Jersey City Attack

Jersey City NJ, Friday, December 10th, will mark the two-year anniversary of the Jersey City shooting, when two gunmen injured one person and fatally shot four, including a local police detective and three civilians. While there are currently no known or specific credible threats to New Jersey, NJOHSP actively monitors for any suspicious activity surrounding anniversary dates of terrorist attacks. NJOHSP collaborates with federal, State and local partners to help prevent future attacks and to ensure the safety and security of our communities. The public is encouraged to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity to local authorities or NJOHSP’s Counterterrorism Watch Desk at 1-866-4-SAFE-NJ or tips@njohsp.gov.
