WYCKOFF, NJ – Residents in a quiet Wyckoff neighborhood received a startling wake-up call this afternoon when a vehicle veered off the road and collided with a residential home.

The Wyckoff Volunteer Fire Department (WVFD) was dispatched immediately to the scene of the accident. Upon arrival, first responders found a vehicle had jumped the roadway, traveling across the property before striking the side of the structure.

From an off-duty EMT saving a teenager at summer camp to a roadside rescue on Route 4, the annual awards dinner on February 9 served as a powerful reminder of the thin line between tragedy and hope.
