Maywood NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the additional arrest of 28-year-old DAIKER YAIR RIVERO URBANO of Detroit, MI and criminal charges filed against 26-year-old CHRISTIAN RICARDO VERA CASTILLO of Brooklyn, NY, in relation to an armed robbery in Maywood, NJ in 2024. This latest development is the result of additional investigation that has spanned a total of nineteen months by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck, and the Maywood Police Department, under the direction of Chief Terence Kenny.

LEPIANKA of Passaic, NJ; and 27-year-old MICHAEL A. RODRIGUEZ of Passaic, NJ on charges stemming from an armed robbery that occurred in East Rutherford, NJ. The charges are the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck, and the East Rutherford Police Department, under the direction of Chief Dennis Rivelli.

VEGA of West New York, NJ on charges stemming from an armed robbery in Edgewater, NJ. Additionally, Prosecutor Musella announced charges against 21-year-old JADEN A. VAZQUEZ of Guttenberg, NJ. These arrests and the charges filed in this matter are the result of a year-long investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck, and the Edgewater Police Department, under the direction of Chief Donald Martin.

Hackensack NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrests and indictments of 21-year-old OMAR I. CETINER of Hackensack, NJ; 20-year-old ISLAM A. SALAAM of Hackensack, NJ; and 29-year-old ALAN A. VALDEZ-METZ of Paterson, NJ related to an armed robbery investigation. Prosecutor Musella also announced charges against a 17-year-old juvenile from Paterson, NJ. Also related to this investigation, Prosecutor Musella announced the arrest and indictment of 23-year-old MICHAEL N. FENNER of Hackensack, NJ on CDS-related offenses. The arrests, charges, and indictments are the result of a months-long investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck, and the Hackensack Police Department, under the direction of Chief Michael Antista.

Edgewater Man Pleads Guilty to Armed Robbery in Teaneck

Edgewater NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced that on May 24, 2024, ZEF HAJDARI, 27, of Edgewater, NJ, pled guilty to the June 16, 2022, attempted armed robbery of a Teaneck resident. HAJDARI is the first co-defendant to plead guilty in this multi-defendant case. Specifically, HAJDARI pled guilty to first-degree robbery, N.J.S.A. 2C:15-1a. The State will recommend a sentence of six years in New Jersey State Prison. Sentencing is scheduled for September 13, 2024.
