WASHINGTON, D.C. — In the largest release of CIA analysis related to the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, newly declassified intelligence documents show that the U.S. government received explicit, repeated warnings about Osama bin Laden’s intentions to strike inside the United States—including threats involving hijacked aircraft—years before the tragedy occurred.
