Hackensack NJ, Every year, when Spring rolls around and exposure to pollen increases, so do allergies. But this year, we are not only experiencing seasonal allergies, but a new viral respiratory illness in COVID-19. Since COVID-19 is something we haven’t experienced before, it is easy to feel concerned with every symptom that creeps up. I have a headache, could this be coronavirus? I’m more tired than usual, could this be coronavirus? You get it, the list goes on.

Valley Hospital Marks the 500th COVID 19 Patient Release

Ridgewood NJ, according to the Ridgewood Police Department on April 23,2020 saw the 500th COVID 19 patient to walk out of Valley Hospital, a Police Lieutenant from the Orangetown NY Police Department. Ridgewood Police officers were there to clap showing support to our fellow first responders and the healthcare heroes. Ridgewood officers along with officers from the Northvale Police Department assisted in escorting the Orangetown Lieutenant as he left Valley Hospital.

Republican Hirsh Singh Condemns Fake Study Against HydroxyChloroquine

LINWOOD NJ, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate strongly condemned a group of activists who abused their academic titles and published a paper purporting to be a study allegedly proving that the anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine was ineffective against COVID-19. The first author of the so-called study is Joseph Magagnoli, a statistician. Other key contributors are ophthalmologists.

Over 858,000 workers in New Jersey have filed for unemployment since March 15

Trenton NJ, The Labor Department has distributed $1 billion in unemployment benefits since the COVID-19 pandemic began in mid-March.
For the second week in a row, the number of new weekly claims hovered around 140,000 after two weeks in which the weekly volume of claims topped 200,000.

Ridgewood NJ, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell drew scathing criticism from a several lawmaker Wednesday for saying he would prefer to see states file for bankruptcy than receive additional federal funds as they struggle to cover the costs of combating the coronavirus outbreak.
