Teaneck NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 18-year-old ALEXANDER L. VARGAS of Bogota, NJ on new, upgraded charges related to a fatal hit-and-run accident that occurred on January 25, 2024. The arrest and latest upgraded charges are the result of a continuing investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck and the Teaneck Police Department under the direction of Chief Andrew McGurr.
