This investigation is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck, and the Oakland Police Department, under the direction of Chief Timothy Keenan.

Oakland NJ, Oakland Police, Oakland Fire Department, Oakland EMS, and Franklin Lakes EMS responded to aid the victims of a Wednesday afternoon, 10/17, rollover crash in front of 392 Ramapo Valley Road, Oakland. A total of four (4) vehicles were involved in the collision, including a marked Oakland police SUV, which appeared to have been parked when it was hit. Two (2) victims were transported by ambulance to Chilton Medical Center, three (3) other victims refused medical aid, Multiple tow trucks were required to remove wreckage from the scene.
