Ramapo College Water Tests Safe from PFOS Contamination

Mahwah NJ, Ramapo College tested their water. Their results showed PFOS at 3.2 ppt, much lower than maximum allowable limits. Below is the bulletin they sent out:

Mahwah Water Department : 2021 Tests from the Township’s Well #19 show PFOS levels Exceeding the State Standard

Mahwah NJ, Jim Wysocki Mayor of Mahwah commented on the notification  from the Mahwah Water Department dated January 13th ,that  reached residents’ mailboxes Friday. It states that 2021 tests from the township’s Well #19 show PFOS levels of .016 micrograms per liter, exceeding the state standard of .013.
