In a comment on the Ridgewood Professional Firefighters FMBA Local 47 Facebook page : “We at Ridgewood FMBA Local 47 regretfully have to say goodbye to one of our own. Retired Captain Greg Hillerman AKA “The Dude” passed away yesterday morning after a hard fought battle. Those who worked with and knew him will never forget all the fun he brought every single day. We’ll miss you brother . Visiting Monday from 4-8 PM and Tuesday from 9-10 AM, with a Service to follow at 10:30 AM, at the Feeney Funeral Home 232 Franklin Ave Ridgewood. Interment at Westwood Cemetery”
