RIDGEWOOD, NJ — The Village of Ridgewood has announced a public hearing to address a long-standing land issue involving 0.378 acres of former parkland that was sold without proper approval in 1983. The meeting will take place on September 9, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the Patrick A. Mancuso Senior Center, located on the first floor of Ridgewood Village Hall, 131 North Maple Avenue. Hybrid Zoom access will also be available for residents who wish to participate remotely.

On July 18, 2025, at 10:47 AM, Hyslop took a 9-1-1 call reporting a 2-month-old infant choking and not breathing at a local shop on Chestnut Street in the Village of Ridgewood.
