After a two-week trial that began on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, before the Honorable Christopher R. Kazlau, J.S.C. in Bergen County Superior Court, the defendant was found guilty. Englewood Cliffs NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 29-year-old HARSHKUMAR H. PATEL of Piscataway, NJ on charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and possession of a weapon. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck and the Englewood Cliffs Police Department under the direction of Chief William Henkelman.
