Bergen County And Bergen Community College Form Partnership To Enrich Veterinary Technology Education

Teterboro NJ, the Bergen County Board of Commissioners and County Executive Jim Tedesco are excited to announce a new innovative partnership between Bergen Community College (BCC) and the Bergen County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center.  BCC’s Veterinary Technology Program students will now have the opportunity to gain hands-on externships at the Bergen County Animal Shelter, providing care for the animals before they find a forever home.

Bergen County Veteran Services Public/Private Collaboration to House Formerly Homeless and Disabled Veterans in Glen Rock

Glen Rock NJ,  The Division of Veteran Services of Bergen County today hosted the opening of two apartments in newly refurbished supportive housing at 23 Kenmore Place for two formerly homeless and disabled veterans and their children. The day featured 12 community partners who worked with Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco, the Bergen County Board of Commissioners, and the Division to fully furnish the apartments.
