Ridgewood NJ, in observance of Good Friday, all Village offices and departments (except emergency services) will be closed on March 29. There will be no garbage or recycling pickup on that day. The Recycling Center also will be closed on Good Friday, but will be open on Saturday, March 30 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Ridgewood NJ, December 23rd and 26th ,all Village Offices will be closed in observance of the Christmas Holiday – There will be garbage and recycling pickup on December 23rd, but there will be no garbage or recycling pickup on December 26th, and the Recycling Center will also be closed.

Ridgewood NJ, all Village offices will be closed on December 31, 2021 in observance of the New Year’s Holiday and the Recycling Center will also be closed on December 31st, January 1st, and January 2nd.

Ridgewood NJ, storm Ida has left the area. Village employees who worked through the night on Village buildings that flooded and assisted residents with flooding issues at their homes, did a wonderful job. Village employees and service contractors are also working diligently to get Village Hall and the parking lot ready to open again, to staff and the public. All Village offices will remain closed tomorrow, 9/3/2021, so that this continued cleanup can be accomplished.

Ridgewood NJ, All Village offices will be reopening to the public on June 1, 2021. Masks will be required in all Village buildings and social distancing must be maintained. We respectfully request that you limit your in-person visits to Village offices to doing business with Village departments or attending a scheduled class, meeting or event.
Holiday Schedule for Village Offices and Sanitation & Recycling Pick Ups
Due to the holiday season, Village offices will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, December 24, 25, 2015.
Village offices will also be closed for New Year’s Day, January 1, 2016.
Recycling Center, E. Glen Ave. will be open 12/24, 26th . It will be closed 12/25/2015 and 1/1/2016
Sanitation/Recycling pick up will take place December 24, but not December 25 or January 1.
