Washington DC, The population of the United States grew by just 7.4 percent in the last decade, its second-slowest rate in any decade since the first Census was taken back in 1790. The only other decade with slower growth? The 1930s.

Six of the seven states that will lose a seat in Congress — Illinois, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia — are in the Rust Belt. Five of those states, leaving West Virginia aside, have been losing seats for a long time.

West Virginia, Leads the US in COVID Vaccinations

Trenton NJ, as of Tuesday, 233,555 vaccine doses have been administered in New Jersey . Of those doses, more than 212,000 were the first dose, while more than 21,000 people had received their second dose of the vaccine. The dashboard will be updated daily with the latest numbers reported as of 9:30 a.m.

American Meteor Society Reports Fireball in the Night Sky

Ridgewood NJ, according to the American Meteor Society , the AMS received over 280 reports so far about a fireball event that occurred over Connecticut and New York on November 8th, 2020 around 19:22 EST (November 9th, 02:22 Universal Time). The so called AMS #2020-5441 event was mainly seen from Connecticut and New York but we also received reports from Massachusetts, Delaware, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia and Québec.
