Ridgewood NJ, in order to “improve traffic flow“ and generate “much-needed revenue” for their city, Hoboken City Council members voted late last year to eliminate free parking in all of Hoboken‘s business districts on Sundays between the hours of 9 AM and 9 PM.
In light of recent comments made at Ridgewood Village Council budget meetings regarding requests to increase the overall full-time Village employee headcount, we wonder if Ridgewood will have to start charging for Sunday parking in their business district in order to pay the new wages and benefits .

I had a drink Saturday night at Roots, it was $15.95.
Why was my parking free?
Didn’t the restaurants benefit from the parking deck?
Ridgewood is not next.
Why?
Because there are 100’s of other places to go besides Deadwood.
and park for free.
Ridgewood = Yesterday
But the Performing Arts Center is coming! That’s going to be a game changer.
East Ridgewood Avenue will be synonymous with Broadway.
Unless the Village moves to pay for parking on Sunday, performing arts center patrons will take up every spot on E. Ridgewood Ave. for hours on Sunday performance days.
Exciting!
Are they breaking ground soon on the new Ridgewood PAC?
Did we miss an announcement or update from The Dirty Vag, KK, or the Clown Council?
The villages is managed like shit
People are going elsewhere. Ridgewood is not what it once was. No sign of getting better anytime soon under the current leadership.
We know who we can thank for that!!!!
