Northvale NJ, one person is dead and another was taken into custody Wednesday morning in a homicide on Ludlow Avenue in Northvale . Its the second homicide in Bergen County this week and the third homicide in two weeks .
Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella issued the following statement :
The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Northvale Police Department are investigating a homicide that occurred at 151 Ludlow Avenue in Northvale in the morning of Wednesday, October 27, 2021. Northvale Police responded to the address around 8:30 a.m. following a report that a deceased individual had been found at that address. Responding officers searched the building to make sure there was no ongoing threat to the community. A suspect has been taken into custody, and no other individuals are believed to have been involved.
An investigation is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Northvale Police Department under the direction of Chief Howard Ostrow. Additional information will be released at a later time.
