Citing the financial unsustainability of Obamacare, both the insured and insurers are fleeing Obamacare in increasing numbers, leaving President Obama’s takeover of the nation’s healthcare system on the verge of collapse.
The administration has claimed Obamacare — officially designated the Affordable Care Act — to be a great success, insisting that 20 million previously uninsured Americans now have insurance. But according to a report at The Guardian, that “success” comes at the expense of all the features that were supposed to make the law sustainable.
President Obama and his cohorts imagined that since Obamacare was to be compulsory, millions of healthy young Americans would immediately sign up, and the massive influx of cash paid into the system as insurance premiums would help pay for the higher costs in care doled out to older, sicker enrollees.
No kidding
Socialistic policies don’t work…
Over the last eight years Obama and his supportsers have reeked havoc on this once great nation.
Wake up people!
Step 1 almost done…
Now to create single payer national healthcare via executive order on his way out the door.
I love it when a plan comes together…
If it s replaced we need a program that will make healthcare affordable and available for everyone.
The uninsured were receiving healthcare in emergency rooms, the most expensive place to get service. They often did not have any preventive care so when they went in they were usually very sick. Preventive care is cheaper.
We all pay for the uninsured. Theyr healthcare was not magical, it was paid for by the taxpayers and the insured. Might as well have a legitimate program that gives the uninsured access – at their expense.
That would be a gift to everyone. I hope we do have an option for single payer. Anyone who is opposed should try to purchase on the open market and see what you get for your money.
Ha, ha, ha – Ridgewood teacher’s whining about a $10 co-pay.
