Old Tappan NJ , Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of DANIEL G. PFEIFFER (DOB: 6/13/1989; single; program coordinator) of 12 Windsor Place, Old Tappan, NJ on stalking-related charges. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love.

On Thursday, September 29, 2022, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at the residence of DANIEL PFEIFFER during an investigation involving invasion of privacy and stalking. The investigation revealed that PFEIFFER used the Internet to create a social media account to post sexually explicit images of the victim in violation of a permanent stalking restraining order.
As a result of the investigation, DANIEL PFEIFFER was arrested on September 29, 2022 in Paramus, NJ and charged with third-degree invasion of privacy, N.J.S.A. 2C:14-9c; third-degree stalking, N.J.S.A. 2C:12-10c; fourth-degree cyber harassment, N.J.S.A. 2C:33-4.1a(2); and fourth-degree contempt of a permanent stalking restraining order, N.J.S.A. 2C:29-9a.
Prosecutor Musella states that the charges are merely accusations and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Prosecutor Musella thanks the Old Tappan Police Department for their assistance, as well as the Englewood and Lyndhurst Police Departments and the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department which all participate in the Bergen County Cyber Crimes Task Force.
