Ridgewood NJ, pedestrian safety activist Frank Geraghty points out that once again signage problems on Maple Avenue Ridgewood.

First picture shows exit from Jersey Mike’s Subs at Maple avenue in Ridgewood with white arrow in center, this exit has two problems. First problem is there should be a stop sign to stop motorists from dashing out over the sidewalk which happens all the time also the “no exit ” sign on right side of this photo should be tilting away.

Second picture from Bank of America next door shows two “no exit” signs just erected by Bank of America, one tilted to right pointing at bank door this TILTED sign should have been placed on the left side so as not to confuse customers LEAVING Jersey Mike’s (see first photo). The problem is the workers mixed the two “no exit” signs up and placed the tilted sign on right side FACING BANK DOOR instead of Left side which would then be TILTING AWAY from Jersey Mikes customer exit to Maple avenue.
