Hackensack NJ, Barstool Sports CEO Dave Portnoy paid a visit to Lido Restaurant in Hackensack. Lido Restaurant is billed as the home of the famous thin crust pizza and steak sandwich.
Portnoy, the sports internet mogul, stopped by the ever-popular Main Street restaurant this week for another installment of his “One Bite” pizza review series. Making the rounds in North Jersey recently, Portnoy visited Curioni’s in Lodi and Urban Tomato in Palisades Park, but Lido’s in Hackensack led the pack and earned a respectable rating of 8.1 out of 10 from the Barstool pizza mogul.

Portnoy exclaimed “I love it in there,” standing outside of the old school restaurant. “It’s straight out of the 1930s. You’ve got the old people sitting around, bar-style. I hope it’s going to be bar pizza… it has to be, right?.

There are so many great pizzerias in New Jersey. From my experience you need to go around Lodi Clifton area what a difference in Pizza. Pizzerias in Ridgewood are OK.
