Oradell NJ, the Oradell Fire Department rushed to the scene at the the 300 block of Schlomann Drive for a car crash into the home. Firefighters made sure the home was safe before the car was removed and the building department checked for structural stability. Companies operated for approximately two hours.

Oradell Police Lt. David Gangemi said , the driver was “operating at a high rate of speed” as the Nissan Sentra raced up Merritt Drive and then failed to take the corner onto Schlomann Drive near the Haworth border around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 28th.
The town has suffered a series of motor vehicle crashes in the last 10 days or so .
On December 21st Oradell Fire companies responded to separate motor vehicle crashes this morning, one on Ridgewood Ave in Oradell and one on Kinderkamack Rd in River Edge.
On December 20th Oradell Fire Squad 22 responded to the intersection of Ridgewood Ave and Spring Valley Rd for a multi vehicle crash. The fire department made the scene safe and assisted EMS
Ridgewood Blog sources are investigating whether or not MS-13 is involved.
No idea if this was the cause, but driving high is rampant today. The smell from passing cars is off the charts.
