Orpheus Club Men’s Chorus Celebrates 110th Anniversary with Concerts Featuring Music of the Immigrant Experience

Ridgewood NJ, Orpheus Club Men’s Chorus presents its annual Spring Concerts on April 6-7 in Ridgewood, NJ, with music for every taste, from classical to show tunes and pop.

Our spring concert will feature music of the immigrant experience coming to America. Highlights include the music of Copland, Porter, Gounod, Berlin, Miranda, and more, as well as a rendition of Rachmaninoff’s Prelude in G Minor by our pianist, Ron Levy. Additional music is listed on our website (www.ridgewoodorpheusclub.org). The recipient of the Roland L. Meyer Orpheus Club Scholarship, a high school senior who will study music in college, will also perform.

Orpheus is led by music director John J. Palatucci and pianist Ron Levy. Founded in Ridgewood in 1909, it is the oldest cultural institution in Bergen County.

The concerts will be held on Saturday, April 6 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 7 at 4 p.m., at Ridgewood United Methodist Church, 100 Dayton Street, Ridgewood, NJ 07450. A reception will follow Saturday’s performance.
Tickets are available in advance, for $20, at www.ridgewoodorpheusclub.org, or call (201) 677-8439. At the door, tickets are $25, or $23 for seniors and students.
