Hackensack NJ, early on the morning of June 26th, at approximately 5:30 AM, emergency responders were called to the scene of an overturned tractor trailer on the Route 80 on-ramp from Route 17 south.
City of Hackensack Deputy 4, Engine 1, Engine 2, and Rescue 1 arrived to find the tractor trailer on its side, with its load of peat moss soil scattered across the shoulder. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
Hackensack Firefighters remained on scene to assist with the cleanup process as the trailer was unloaded. The New Jersey State Police are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
