Paramus NJ, A major emergency response flooded a Paramus intersection early Monday morning after a transport van carrying adult day care clients collided with an SUV, causing the van to roll over onto its side.

The two-vehicle accident occurred shortly after 7:15 AM on Monday, May 18, 2026, at the busy intersection of East Ridgewood Avenue and Highland Avenue in Paramus, New Jersey.

The collision involved a transport van operated by a local adult day care center and a Subaru Crosstrek. The impact of the crash caused the transport van to tip over, trapping occupants and necessitating an immediate, large-scale rescue operation.
