Paramus NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of STANLEY R. LENKIEWICZ (DOB: 01/28/1970; single; unemployed) of 513 Forest Avenue, Paramus, NJ on charges of Terroristic Threats, Stalking, and Impersonation. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti, the Paramus Police Department under the direction of Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg, the Hackensack Police Department under the direction of Officer in Charge Captain Peter Busciglio, and the United States Postal Inspection Service, Newark Division, under the direction of Inspector in Charge James V. Buthorn.
On Wednesday, July 24, 2019, the Paramus Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Intelligence & Counterterrorism Unit to report that several victims in Paramus, Hackensack, and West Milford, NJ received letters threatening serious bodily injury and death to them and their family members.
The subsequent investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, Paramus Police Department, Hackensack Police Department, and the United States Postal Inspection Service revealed that STANLEY R. LENKIEWICZ sent the threatening letters to parents of students at a school in Paramus, NJ and to a former coworker using the identity of a third party.
On Friday, August 2, 2019, STANLEY R. LENKIEWICZ was arrested in Paramus, NJ and charged with five counts of Terroristic Threats, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:12-3a, a 3rd degree crime, four counts of Terroristic Threats, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:12-3b, a 3rd degree crime, Stalking, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:12-10b, a 3rd degree crime, and three counts of Impersonation, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:21-17a(1), a 4th degree crime. STANLEY R. LENKIEWICZ is scheduled for a first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, NJ on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 8:30 a.m.
Prosecutor Musella states that the charges are merely accusations and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, and he would like to thank the Paramus and Hackensack Police Departments and the United States Postal Inspection Service for their assistance in this investigation.
He should have also been charged with wearing a ridiculous hair piece.
