Paramus NJ, A 42-year-old Hackensack man is behind bars after allegedly targeting and exposing himself to multiple women in the parking lot of Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus, New Jersey.

Undercover Officers Spot Suspicious SUV at Mall

The incident unfolded on Thursday when Officer Vincent LaBarbiera of the Paramus Police Department was patrolling the crowded parking lot of Garden State Plaza. He observed a grey 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLS450 slowly cruising through the aisles and repeatedly stopping beside female shoppers.

Officers from the department’s Crime Suppression Unit immediately placed the vehicle under surveillance. Detectives watched as the driver stopped near a woman leaning over her car, engaged in a brief interaction, and then drove off to target another shopper nearby.

Bizarre Encounters & Rapid Police Intervention

According to investigators, the driver—identified as Jordan Williams of Hackensack—used disturbing tactics to draw victims toward his vehicle:

• First Encounter: Williams pulled up to a woman who was changing her shoes by her vehicle, made comments about her footwear, and drove off.

• Second Encounter: Williams waved over a second woman, who initially believed he was waiting for her parking spot. After making comments about her feet, Williams declared, “I’m going to give you a show,” before opening his passenger-side door.

As Officer Diego Cruz approached the Mercedes, the second victim quickly returned to her vehicle and attempted to back out of the space.

Paramus police officers immediately moved in and blocked Williams’ vehicle. As officers pulled up, Williams attempted to cover his exposed genitals, but officers took him into custody on the spot without further incident.

Charged with Lewdness in Bergen County

Williams was charged with lewdness by the Paramus Police Department and subsequently remanded to the Bergen County Jail. Local law enforcement encourages anyone who observes suspicious behavior in commercial parking lots to report it immediately to security or local police.
