Paramus NJ, Exciting news for Paramus families and local athletes! Reid Park is set to undergo significant revitalizations thanks to a new county grant partnership aimed at preserving and enhancing community recreational spaces.

Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco, alongside Paramus Mayor Christopher DiPiazza, members of the Bergen County Board of Commissioners, and representatives from the Bergen County Parks System, officially presented $280,000 in Open Space Trust Funding to the Borough of Paramus.

What’s Changing? Planned Renovations at Reid Park

The $280,000 grant will directly fund several key facility enhancements to ensure Reid Park remains a top-tier recreational hub for residents of all ages:

• Updated Playground: Brand-new modern play equipment and safety enhancements for local youth.

• Resurfaced Basketball Courts: Fresh court surfaces to improve safety and playability for local pickup games.

• Renovated Baseball Dugout: Upgraded facilities for Paramus youth baseball and softball teams.

During the presentation ceremony, officials met with the Paramus Mayor and Council, as well as enthusiastic members of the local youth softball team who will directly benefit from the upgrades.
