I did not know we had a group home for girls in Ridgewood. Interesting.
Woodlea home on prospect street ….been there for years.
Yes 3:22 its been here for over 25 years.
3:22pm there is more than one in town. They have been there for years like 6:12pm said. Legally they have privacy just like any other home in town, probably why you don’t know about them.
This stuff happens in all types of homes.
Thanks. Positive thought for all the young ladies living in the homes.
Young men too, mr stereotype
A young man, Ridgewood grad, killed his mother that way
Maybe Fishbein can come up with a solution and add the cost to the ballot in the fall.
A realtor pointed it out as the bad girls home when I first started looking in Ridgewood.
I lived here no boys ever, wonderful place to grow up. You don’t hear about them because they were great at keeping us girls in check.
I grew up there too; my 2 good friends in school that I hung out with all the time for 2 years, went to their parents homes for holidays, their moms told me to call them mom; we were always together. In my senior year one of these 2 friends started dating my brother and her mom found out I lived at Woodlea “the home for wayward girls” as it was falsely called. Both moms demanded that all communication between their daughters (who lived in the Heights, btw) and me stop at once. I was abruptly and completely cut off from all communication with them; devastated beyond words back then. People are so judgmental and cruel. Not my fault that my parents were a mess.
