Ridgewood NJ, the U.S. Postal Service is warning some states that they need to provide more time for those votes to be counted. According to the Washington Post ,the Postal Service  in a letter has warned a total of 46 states and the District of Columbia of mail delays. The Garden State was not included in the warning.

Of the 46 states four states, Michigan, Pennsylvania, California and Washington the Postal Service claimed there is “significant risk” voters will not have enough time to complete their ballots and return them in a timely manner under current state laws, according to correspondence seen by Reuters.

The letter went on to highlight the possibility that a meaningful number of mail votes in the Nov. 3 presidential election might go uncounted if they are returned too late.

Governor Murphy announced that all of New Jersey’s approximately 6.2 million registered voters will receive mail-in ballots to vote in November’s election in an effort to protect the state from during the COVID-19 pandemic. Murphy announced the Garden State will have a “hybrid” election Nov. 3, with mostly mail-in voting but a select number of in-person polling locations across the state.

Hummm, Joe Biden gained the presidential endorsement of the National Association of Letter Carriers on Friday, a union that boasts nearly 300,000 active and retired postal workers.

  1. The writer ponders “ Hummm, Joe Biden gained the presidential endorsement of the National Association of Letter Carriers…” as if surprised postal carriers would support the opposition to the administration that is attempting to gut the service it provides to every American citizen, proving how out of touch the writer is with the ordinary citizen, and with postal workers in general.

  4. Hey, Hey , HEY.
Al Gore did not “discover” the internet…. he CREATED the internet.

Al Gore to CNN (Wolf Blitzer) on march 9, 1999:
“During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet.”
