Ridgewood NJ, As we brace ourselves for an impending weather event, the Village is urging residents, especially those in low-lying areas near the Ho-Ho-Kus Brook or the Saddle River, to take necessary precautions. With heavy rains and strong winds forecast for tomorrow night into Wednesday, it’s essential to stay informed and be prepared for the possibility of another flood event.
Weather Forecast:
According to the National Weather Service, our area is expected to receive 2 – 4 inches of rainfall, with locally higher amounts. Residents living near water bodies are advised to closely monitor local weather reports and flood gauges for real-time updates on weather conditions.
Emergency Alert Notifications:
If you haven’t already done so, we strongly recommend that all residents sign up for the Village’s Emergency Alert Notifications through Ridgewood’s Everbridge account. This system allows the Village Office of Emergency Management, Ridgewood Police Department, Ridgewood Fire Department, and Ridgewood Water to communicate emergency information via Reverse 911 telephone calls, emails, and text messages. You can sign up here:

Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service:
For real-time monitoring of river flows, the Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service by the National Weather Service is a valuable resource. Access the service here: https://water.weather.gov/ahps/region.php?rfc=nerfc

We thought that they were going to tow vehicles that were parked in the road when they were plowing. That never happened. The plow trucks went right around that was just a scare tactic a smoke screen up. Bullshit story a load of bull, can you say Malarky? I guess it’s true the monkeys change, but the suits don’t or is it the other way around.
Mr. manager. Why don’t you notify the government surplus, and they will donate high-level water trucks to village. Suppose years back, the village received a few, but someone said no. I’d rather not give out names, but they are available. That’s why you see other Receiving them.
