Wyckoff NJ, on February 25th approximately 1.35 pm Wyckoff Police received a 911 call reporting a person had fallen out of a moving vehicle on Route 208 South between Ewing and Russell Avenues. Arriving officers reported that the front seat passenger of a private ambulance had fallen out of the vehicle and was lying on the shoulder of the highway . The 21 year old male was an employee of the private ambulance service . He appeared to have suffered internal injuries and possible broken bones. The victim was transported to St Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson .
The investigation determined that the victim had been arguing with the driver and exited the vehicle while it was still moving . The Wyckoff Police were assisted at the scene by Franklin Lakes Police, Oakland Police ,The Bergen county Prosecutors Office, the Bergen Sheriffs Department and the NJ Department of Transportation . Charges have been filed . Wyckoff Police remind everyone of the presumption of innocence .
