Mahwah NJ, this was posted last night by Jim Wysocki Mayor of Mahwah. Ramapo Valley Road will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:00 am till 7:00 pm.
Hi everyone,
It has come to the townships attention that Ramapo Valley Road will be closed tomorrow and Wednesday from 7:00 am till 7:00 pm. The roadway will be closed for emergency milling and paving. Detour signs will be posted. Ramapo Valley Rd will be closed at Darlington Ave and the Oakland town line. The Township apologizes for this inconvenience. This was late notice by Bergen County who was responsible for the initial roadwork.
As your Mayor I feel this was unacceptable notice by Bergen County especially so close to the holidays.

Bergen county DPW sucks, in every way imaginable. The roads suck, the manhole covers suck and worse, they don’t even get fixed when repaved. But, you voted for them. Hope you break an axel.
