Reader asks Valley refuses to provide us with a scale model of their plan. Why?
They really have not scored a lot of PR points with this latest move. Then again, do they really care too ? Not at all. In fact, just based on the application itself it shows they could care less about this town.
Valley refuses to provide us with a scale model of their plan. Why? And we have seen no rendering of the view from Linwood Avenue. Hmmm….why?
The answer given at the most recent Planning Board meeting: it would be too costly. Pleeease!
Valley Hospital does not want us to see what their expansion will look like
Cost has nothing to do with it, not when you consider what Valley has spent so far on legal fees, “expert” fees, etc.
It’s really pretty simple: It would do nothing to bolster a case that seems to be falling apart.
I do not recall seeing a rendering of the 5 story parking garage that will run the length of Valley’s property a few feet from Linwood. Valley’s ‘expert’ testimony that 1000 additional parking spaces will result in less traffic defies logic. Will Valley promise that utilization and traffic will not increase in 3, 5 or 7 years? l
I’m quite sure the folks on the PB have figured this part out.
