Reader says “Chronic complainers” is the label they put on you if you disagree with their ideas of what they think is right.
If you dont give the “in crowd” , the “connected few” ,the “cool people” exactly what the want when they want it then you are branded “Chronic complainers”
NIMBY , “Chronic complainers” is it too much to ask for even a smidgin of originality
Be careful not to confuse expressing an opposing point of view with “complaining”. Most of the people you label that way are very involved in the community and have done their homework by attending meetings and volunteering their time.
As for issues with “this Council” I need only refer you to the series of embarrassing episodes that are well documented on this blog as well as in the mainstream media. I realize that the current Council and their apologists wish that these would all just go away. Those that seek public office are subject to public scrutiny.
Well, if there was nothing to complain about, “those bloggers” (of which I am one) would not complain. This Council, under the reign of Sir Paul, has provided ample fodder for complaints and serious embarrassment. Even though the triumvirate will still be in place come July 1, we can only hope that two new council members will be able to reign in this reign of chaos. Exactly how many negative editorials by the staff of The Record have to appear before we can return to sanity? Exactly how many laws need to be broken by our elected officials before sanity can return? Exactly how much money has to be recklessly spent and stolen before sanity can return?
Two members of the “three” love to dismiss complaints instead of listening to them or taking any responsibility. The other one gets teary-eyed when the going gets tough. Anything to deflect blame.
It is pitiful.
Those with save our village signs need look no further than there own backyards to see how things go down hill. How many of you bring home and park your commercial vehicles in the driveway?
jjj I would say a very very small minority, so small posing that question is a little ridiculous. Go talk the the neighbor that inspired that generalization, and get over it.
