Reader says Kindness, compassion, tolerance, love, sharing, tenderness and the willingness to extend a hand to pick a person up

3 amigos in action Ridgewood NJ

To all of you who keep commenting and posting as anonymous, why are you posting that way? Here is an example of what I, Dana Habernickel Koenig, feel about the way the world is going:
It is so sad and I see grown up bullying – all around us – A perfect red carpet rolled out for our kids to follow suit. It is disgraceful. If people are unhappy with themselves, they seem hell bent on pushing someone else down instead. Kindness. That is what we all need to model for our kids. Kindness, compassion, tolerance, love, sharing, tenderness and the willingness to extend a hand to pick a person up, not so shove another down.

  1. Are you fucking kidding me? Seriously? Your sister and her lover terrorized our community as a whole, and thought nothing of targeting individual residents who did not support them. And now you actually expect us to be nice to them? You’ve got some set of balls my dear.

  2. I couldn’t agree more but I personally was mistreated by your sister so this needs to be explained to her! I am sorry if this circumstance that is being written about is true ( although brought on by herself if it is) but someone who bullied the residents of Ridgewood over and over again should not expect compassion.

  3. WOW Maybe you should have said these thing to Gwen when she was on the Council.

  4. Our country is so divided. I recommend Ross Douthat’s column in the NYTimes today.

  5. NY Times ? What is that ?

I canceled my subscription to The Record 2 months ago. I don’t miss it.

  6. Gaslight much, Ms. Habernickel Koenig? If it weren’t for the availability of anonymous commenting on this blog, 95+% of the real meat and potatoes issues that get hashed out here for the benefit of the public would NEVER see the light of day due to rational fear of retribution.

  7. Just as dillusional as Gwen. Time to change the name of that park on Hillcrest. Shame on her!!

  8. Give it a rest, Sister Bear.

  9. I guess the fucking she got isn’t worth the fucking she’s getting.

  10. Oh. My. God. Are you for real? I am sorry she is your sister, but your sister was the nastiest most vindictive person on the council, it was unbelievable. She attacked her council colleagues. She attacked citizens. She called people names like STALKER and TERRORIST. She used obscene language when addressing a member of the public. And now, unbelievable, we find out that she was having an AFFAIR with someone else’s husband who happened to by the Mayor. Aronsohn flipped his stand on Gwenn’s beloved Valley hospital in mid-stream – now it is clear why. “kindness, compassion, tolerance, love, sharing, tenderness, and the willingness to pick up another woman’s husband.”

  11. So from her sisters statement above I can conclude that the affair this is true! Wowsa #shameonyou

  12. Well Dana, do you think your sister did the right thing by having an affair with a council colleague? While she was married and he was married? Is that your definition of kindness, compassion, and tolerance? Maybe it is your definition of sharing and tenderness, anyway between the two of them.

  13. Don’t be Slut Shaming the adultress.
    .
It is empowering – her body her choice.
We should celebrate it… maybe fly a flag.

  14. And now one of her siblings has weighed in – just when I thought that it couldn’t get any better.

Still waiting to hear from one of his current or former family members – that should be a bundle of laughs.

I would be particularly interested in hearing from this one:

    https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1500188/

  15. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1500188/

    This is Aronsohn’s previous wife.

  16. Taking bets now on who will be wife number 3. Place your bets now ladies and gentlemen. Any potential candidates?

  17. Must be the Lava Lights.

  18. Jane Petrov?

  19. Quite honestly she is the nastiest piece of work I’ve met in town, and I’ve met some doozies.

  20. Quite honestly she is the nastiest piece of work I’ve met in town, and I’ve met some doozies. Rest assured that our hands shall not be reaching out to help her up. We are thrilled beyond belief that she can never run for office again, among other things.

We are thrilled beyond belief that she can never run for office again, among other things. We are going to find out whether the personal got political or the political got personal as her vote was whatever he wanted. Lawsuits are not out of the question.

  22. Whose he targeted for wife #3? To jumpstart his failed political career, he’s got to marry someone with kids in order to project (falsely) a wholesome family image. How about that married brunette attorney from the church picnic?

  23. Rich, self centered, mean girl problems

Guess family values cannot be preached or were they ever?

    #sorrynotsorry

  24. Yes. Jane Petrov, an actress formerly known professionally as Katie Aronsohn, was Paul’s first wife.

Looks like RUSSIAN COLLUSION to me.

  26. Dear Dana Pumpernickel,
Please read this recent communication from planet EARTH.
It is the concensus of the earthlings from the village of Ridgewood after much debate, wrangling with conscious and the lot that we send the communicay for your consideration…KISS OUR PROVERBIAL ASSES.
The previous comment has been a public service message to protect us all from the ilk more commonly known as “pumpers” get it? Pumpers? Pumpernickel? Gwen and Paul? Pumpers? Hello? Thank you, I’m here every Thursday. Don’t forget to tip the waitress.

  27. Thank you, Dana Habernickel Koenig, for confirmation from a family member the scuttlebutt that until now was basically gossip. You did not protest innocence–merely niceness. Glad she’s nice to her family. She was very far from nice to us. What’s more, she violated her oath of office.

  28. What happened to Dana’s store, Cupid’s Arrow?

  29. Gwenn and Paul were horrible people. They were manipulative and nasty as hell, along with Roberta and Albert. I feel badly for the husband and wife, but they are better off without these train wrecks.
