The decision may be clear, but it certainly will not be respectful.
In order for it to be respectful, it would need to be handled in closed session.
Mayor Aronsohn has been quoted as saying the reason for open session discussion is: “We wanted everyone to know what was happening in the interests of transparency.”
Quite frankly, I know nothing about what is happening except that at least $46K of taxpayers’ money is reportedly going to be spent to dismiss the Manager for no stated reason.
What are the specifics related to Dr. Gabbert’s planned ouster?
The specifics of his job performance can’t be discussed in public session unless the public employee requests it after receiving his RICE notice.
Transparency, heh.
I don’t know Gabbert nor do I know what’s involved in being a town business manager but $185K seems like a lot of money….
Its still less than they paid Tenhove the previous mannager
