Reader says The Maple Dayton route does the least political harm and does not offend County Democrats

Spring Ave has friends of Ahronson

One or two of Aronsohn’s political benefactors live on Spring and are very active in the Bergen County Democratic Party.

The Maple Dayton route does the least political harm and does not offend County Dems. Aromsohn wants to push the problem to apartment dwellers who don’t vote.

  1. Why else would he think that it is dangerous for Spring/Hope and just finf for Maple/Dayton?

Isn’t the plan for the pole to turn right on Ridgewood Ave? Lots of private homes and a high school there. Is it safe or unsafe for them? How do we feel about those people?

  2. It’s not about safety, it’s about aesthetics. Face it, the tall poles are fugly and look out of place wherever they are planted. Primary roads are preferable because they already have lots of traffic. As PSEG states, it’s a capacity issue and the need for more megawatts requires HD poles. Maybe Paul should lobby the Obama admin and tell them we have a hardship case and convert the town to solar with Obama Dollars?

  3. Well if PSEG stated it then it must be in our best interests. Who are we to question a big business?
