“This country was successful and the envy of the world because of the rule of law. Now that the hordes have taken control and they can literally destroy a life in minutes through social media attacks, law only applies to certain groups of peaceful people we are headed for turmoil. The transformation of this country into some unrecognizable mix of socialism, humiliating and destroy white people, creating artificial divide between Americans of different colors and backgrounds and inciting them against each other is an experiment that will really destroy the world as we know it. Conflict after conflict, division after division is the path to self destruction. We are under the siege of extreme ideologies that nobody seems to be able to stand against.

The instigators are forgetting the history of 2014. Trump won in 2016 largely because of the unrest that followed Ferguson, Staten Island, etc

The United States hasn’t been the best country in the world for a long time. Data proves that: Lifespan, causes of death including gun deaths, school shootings, infant mortality, happiness index, education, inequality as measured by the Gini coefficient, generational theft, structural and institutional racism, paramilitary police forces armed with weapons meant to cause death, most polarized population since the Civil War, etc.
Look at rankings of all of these and the US has failing scores. The only thing providing hope is that the Constitution is a living document, and the separation of powers is holding firm against the ongoing onslaught. SCOTUS maintains its independence.
