Reader says Well guess what , RIDGEWOOD THE PARTY’S OVER!

REA, ridgewoood teachers

The time has long passed for pleasantries. And don’t fool yourself thinking that this blowback directed at the volunteers is uncalled for. To think that someone like Gail was donating her time because she was giving back is laughable. Look at the connections, connect the dots. It’s pretty simple to see the payday just a we bit over the horizon. As far as the over paid / over pensioned lot it’s been a long time coming…people have HAD IT with the continued abuse in the form of over taxation and as soon as I complain about a $100MM school budget or the local FD/PD taking a 100K pension after 20 I get some union lackey putting his foot up my arse because “its only fair”.
Well guess what? PARTY’S OVER.

  1. Teachers should take note. There are not many “Support Ridgewood Teachers” signs around. Mostly on the lawns of teachers and school employees

I am sure that this fall they will put the squeeze on the parents of seniors. Using the kids as bargaining chips.

  2. High school teachers are now unaccountably sabotaging their own students’ grades. As in, the grades of every student in the class. This has been plenty nasty for a while now and the upcoming school year promises fresh outrage from teachers and administrators, adults chronologically, behaving like children.

  3. NJ Monthly rankings for 2016 – Ridgewood isn’t in top 30 – Why the hell should we pay these teachers more money?

  4. Charter Schools

  5. As I’ve said before a picture is worth a thousand words – just look at the faces in that photo – really angry. Shame on them. They should be grateful to be employed in our school system – highest paid in the County, lovely location and extremely generous benefits and pensions. And that long summer holiday – the rest of can only dream about that! No sympathy here.

  6. Another year without a teachers’ contract – if they settled they might have to compromise, so working under the same terms as the expired contract is just abusing taxpayers without compromising. Union thugs!

  7. The party is far from being over.

  8. In 1985 Ridgewood was fifth.
