Ridgewood 3 amigos

So first Roberta and Paul use public funds illegally to influence their stupid parking garage vote. Then we find out that Roberta, under the reign of Paul, has signed a contract that is in direct conflict with the resolution, costing us (according to the CFO last week) upwards of $200,000. Wow, Roberta, you were aces. Thank you so much for the breath of fresh air that you left on our fair town.

Active “vote yes” promotion of the parking garage by elected office holders and village employees was always wrong, wrong, wrong, and NOBODY should be criticized for complaining. Whether they live in Ridgewood or not. This was a thumb in the eye of village residents and a flagrant abuse of the reins of government. The fact that we have neighbors willing go on record with complaints against such behavior is a blessing we don’t always deserve.

  1. Zero accountability…will be swept under the largest rug of corruption and mismanagement in bergen county..After coin boy scandal..are we surprised..we are a laughing stock of a local government…imagine what’s underneath that 105 M school budget!?There are companies who audit for share of recovery,,

  2. Lip-lickers!

  3. A quote in the Record about another town’s school budget “It’s for the kids. Why shouldn’t they have the best for their education?” could so easily be said about Ridgewood. The teachers are never told “No” because parents are petrified that said teachers will retaliate (as they have done in the past) and refuse to write college letters among many other nasty things. Many parents in this town are quite wealthy according to normal standards. They will do anything for their kids. They also forget that there are just as many people who don’t make high incomes. Their usual response to them is “Why don’t you leave Ridgewood if you don’t want to pay the taxes?” Is this the kind of town that people really want?

  4. 2:46…Great Points..This is a massive percentage of taxpayers burden for education funding…good cause..but does not mean that it should not be constantly be reviewed and be reviewed for cost savings and possible cost savings and contract sharing with vendor loyalty programs & contract bundling with ajoining towns…it’s done every day in real business worlds

  5. Any chance of deep-sixing this photo? Surely there are many others to use.
