Ridgewood NJ, Councilman Voigt is quickly becoming the most disliked man in Ridgewood. Through social media we learned, on top of everything else, that Voigt also tried to circumvent the public meeting process. One by one, his malicious plans are backfiring and blowing up in his face. The real Jeff Voigt is being exposed. Residents are turning up at public meetings and on social media to express their disappointment and
say, “ENOUGH! VOIGT RESIGN OR BE RECALLED.”

ALL RESIDENTS: Last night was a very sad moment for Ridgewood. Our elected official is not what we expected. Amongst many things, we learned the reason why Councilman Voigt was asking members of the public to meet in private. It’s down right shameful! I was also asked to meet in private but refused (see below). I couldn’t understand why a Councilman was trying to circumvent a public, transparent dialogue. Now we know.

Jeff, do everyone a favor and resign. Your lies and trickery have been fully revealed and we all see you for what you are. All the people who supported you are shocked and amazed and what a dreadful mistake you are. We, the public, can get you out of office just like we got you into office. Or, you can resign and save yourself the further humiliation.
I hope he understands who are his friends and who are gaming him before it’s too late. He still has time to win back his supporters, before the minimum time to recall passes.

You people still don’t get it. He was a plant from the get go. A stooge of the real power in this town…the formers and the developers who pull the strings. This has been going on for years, it will continue to do so and there is nothing you can or will do about it.

Voigt is a wantabe politician. He was planted. He’s a puppet. Question is…who pulls his strings? What a loser!
He’s not very smart. I watched the video. He publicly admitted he lies, doesn’t follow bylaws, undermines legal council and slanders colleagues. Then he goes in to say, he’s not going to stop. His family and one friend need to stage an intervention. Voigt is publicly making a fool of himself and self destructing.
@ 4:54, I do not believe he is a plant. He can be aggressive and mean, but I always prefer someone do that to my face vs behind my back. Once the other 4 figure out how to shut him down, this will be a non issue.
