Ridgewood NJ, a mother posted the story of her son involved in a hit and run in Ridgewood , this is not the first time the Ridgewood blog has reported and event like this .
“Who’s the driver that hit my son and left the scene? My 14 year old son was hit by a blue Honda four door sedan – dark hair woman driver mid 50’s between Ridgewood Ave and Irving Street today at 7:30 pm. The woman rolled down her window to ask if he was ok. Before my son could even response back as he was checking the damage of his bike, she left the scene. I’m beyond livid that someone wouldn’t even get out of the car to check to see if he’s okay.”
This is a serious offense, and shame on the woman.
Sad situation,but if there were more enforcement of traffic laws in the village it may not happen again. At this busy intersection someone saw something.
Enforcement? Please.
And stop with the “Village” nonsense.
