Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood community gathered today at Van Neste Square to pay tribute to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. The annual Memorial Day Service, hosted by the Ridgewood American Legion Post 53, began at 11 am and was a moving ceremony dedicated to honoring those we have lost.
Village Manager Keith Kazmark offered a heartfelt thank you to the large crowd who attended, demonstrating the community’s deep respect and gratitude for our fallen heroes. The ceremony was not only a moment of reflection but also a showcase of the incredible talents of Ridgewood High School students, whose performances added a special touch to the day’s events.
Monday’s service was a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by so many for the freedoms we enjoy. The Ridgewood American Legion Post 53 continues to lead our community in remembering and honoring those who have given their lives in defense of our country.
